Learn from professional animator Jeanne Stern, who has created work for films, the internet, television, and education. Some of Jeanne's short films, including "Zut-Alors," "Sprout," and "Piano Mouths," have shown at SXSW, the Smithsonian, the Orlando Museum of Art, PBS, the Providence Children's Museum, and Heather Henson's Handmade Puppet Dreams. Jeanne earned her MFA in Film at the University of Texas at Austin. You can see Jeanne's work at her website: jeannestern.com.
Come join us for an introduction into the the world of 3-D DIY Filmmaking.
In this workshop students will create dioramas and turn them into 3D images.
They will shoot pairs of photos and combine them in Photoshop, so they can be seen 3D with special glasses. Participants will also learn the basics of
stereoscopy (3D) and about how we see depth. Students are encouraged
to bring their own digital cameras. Diorama making materials will be provided.
All finished work will be screened at the annual Loud & Clear Film Festival at the Alamo Drafthouse. 3D glasses will be FREE.

*No Refunds for SUMMER CAMP.
*Cancellations received at least 10 calendar days before the start date of the SPRING/FALL class shall receive 100% refund.
*Cancellations received at least 7 calendar days before the start date of the class shall receive 50% refund.
*Cancellations received fewer than 7 days before the class shall not be credited or refunded.
*No refunds for Apple Certification Exams.
